The client in this case study is IMS Bolt, a small sized business that sells and distributes tools and maintenance supply in the industrial sector.
Building out Ecommerce Platform
A successful Ecommerce website depends on a lot of factors. It has to be easy to navigate so customers can find what they need as fast as possible. It also needs to have enough Products uploaded with the correct Technical Information and Documents available. A meaningful Category and Sub-Category Structure is very important, as well.
Those are just a few things that makes a successful Ecommerce Platform. IMS was missing all of these fundamental factors when we first started working with them.
Increase Website Visitors
For the amount of available Products, IMS Bolt was not ranking for enough Keywords. Therefore the organic website traffic was suffering and not enough customers were seeing or going to their website. In addition to that IMS Bolt was mainly ranking on the Google's second page or worse.
Missing Meta Tags and weak technical SEO was definitely something that needed to improve, as well.
Increase Website Sales
Industrial Maintenance Supply was established in 1999 and is a leading distributor of industrial supplies, maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) equipment, tools and materials.
IMS established a Ecommerce Platform in 2017. However since then, Website Sales growth was been very slow. Even after working with various Marketing Agencies their Website Sales did not increase by a significant amount.

Building out Ecommerce Platform
In order to improve the client's ECommerce platform, we built out a meaningful Category and Sub-Category Structure. This allows Customers to easily find the products they are looking for. IMS is a distributor of industrial supplies, maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) equipment, tools and materials. This means their website need to be able to showcase a large variety of products that are available online in order to be relevant. We uploaded over 15,000 products including all the necessary product information within a few weeks which has given the site a big boost.

UX Design
Since Galvanic Solutions specializes in the Industrial Industry our UX Designer Team was able to design the website so customers could easily find the products they are searching for. This is key to the improvement of Average Session Duration, Bounce Rate, and Page views. Increasing these metrics signals Google to rank the website higher over time.
